Why Skating?

Skating is one of the most popular sports in Canada today. In Canada millions of people lace up skates every year, and there are many winter celebrations that feature skating. Through the inclusive programming offered, we encourage people to become involved and stay involved for life.

Skate Saskatoon Club History

The establishment of the Club dates back to 1928. Local skating enthusiasts took steps to form the club.

Today, Skate Saskatoon is the largest skating club in Saskatchewan and one of the larger in Canada with a membership exceeding 1000. Skate Saskatoon is committed to serving all of its members to be the best of our ability. To this end, we credit our success to our past and present coaches, other personnel, volunteers, board members and skaters.
